The Gaskin fam has a new ride.
After 6 months of being unable to [legally] ride together in the same vehicle as a family, we are excited to announce: we bought a van!
Meet our burgundy 1997 Chevy Astro with 146K miles. We bought it for $2400 from friends who took fantastic care of it; it looks and runs great. And it seats 8!
It's such a joy to have the privilege of traveling together as a family again.

woohoo! you can [legally:)] fit two more babies in there!!! my parents traded their van for our car, such a blessing when there wasn't a van in our sight before that. we are loving it! happy van driving gaskin family!

Astros are the best! My parents have owned 3 of them and I owned one. A 1993 that we paid

Ah, man! You are bringing back memories and making me jealous. If you happen to recall, Tom had a Chevy Astro when we all were in school. We sold it before working in China after we got married and we still regret it. We wish so bad that we had it again. You're lucky to have a great car.

I'm pretty sure at some point my parents owned an Astro. And in fact, I think I learned to drive with one. SO, good times, good times. Congrats on the bigger vehicle! :) God is good!
