You'll notice Penny has substituted a disposable cloth refill with a microfiber towel. They work fantastically, save money, and reduce waste. Hurray!

Penelope + toddlerized Swiffer mop = True Love

My good friend Tracy taught me this super trick a few years ago while I was on the hunt for affordable, functional, simple, toddler-sized brooms and mops.

A standard Swiffer Sweeper comes in four pieces; assemble it without using the middle two pieces and you have a perfectly sized little kid's mop (use three of the four pieces to create a mop for older children)! 18 month old Penelope has recently discovered the joys of the Swiffer and I would estimate she's been spending 60% of her baby days in pursuit of dust bunnies.
